Excellence

Clay Academy is a Christ-centered private school offering educational opportunities for grades Pre-K3 through 8th. The focus of the Academy is to educate and develop the whole student in an effort to fulfill the aspirations, experiences and academic endeavors of each individual that will lead to excellence. Excellence is exemplified through the teaching of biblical principles as foundational to students' development spiritually, academically, technologically, athletically and artistically. The Academy also meets the exceptional standards set by the accrediting body, the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Additionally, teachers have certification by both the State of Texas and the Association of Christian Schools International.

The teachers take the time to know each student, giving those in their charge the guidance, encouragement, and challenges they need to realize their potential. Clay Academy provides a sound education that enables each child to function effectively in a rapidly changing society. Students are exposed to significant preparations that will complement their full development and academic endeavors. The foundation of Clay Academy's curriculum is A Beka, a Christian-based approach to theory and learning that is achieved through practicality. The curriculum is further augmented with a combination of academic subjects as well as the use of resources that enhance learning. The Academy offers the subjects of Bible, language arts, social studies, mathematics, sciences, technology, foreign language as well as exploratory and life skills lessons.
